FROM THE CEO
We are listening to the questions and concerns shared by our members, and this section provides important updates, insights, and answers directly from our cooperative’s leadership.
YOUR CO-OP.
YOUR VOICE.
YOUR ANNUAL MEETING.
One of the things that makes Southeastern Indiana REMC unique is that we are not just a service provider—we are a cooperative, owned by the members we serve.
That means your voice matters.
Each year, our Annual Meeting is an important opportunity to stay informed, hear updates about your cooperative, and take part in the democratic process that helps guide our future. It’s a time to reflect on where we’ve been, share where we’re going, and ensure that the decisions we make continue to serve the best interests of our members and communities.
This year, we invite you to join us for our Virtual Annual Meeting on Monday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m., streamed live on our Facebook page.
During the meeting, we will provide updates on the cooperative’s performance, highlight key initiatives, and share important information about the work being done to serve you. Most importantly, we will announce the results of this year’s Board of Directors election.
Voting in the director election is one of the most important ways you can participate as a member. Your Board of Directors plays a critical role in setting the direction of the cooperative, making policy decisions, and ensuring that SEI REMC remains focused on serving its members with integrity and accountability.
By taking a few moments to vote, you help shape the leadership and future of your cooperative.
On a personal note, I always look forward to this time of year. The Annual Meeting is more than a report—it’s a reminder of who we serve and why we do what we do. While we may not be gathering in person, the opportunity to connect with our members and share in the work of the cooperative is just as meaningful. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to join us, stay informed, and be part of it.
Even if you are unable to attend the live meeting, we encourage you to cast your vote and stay engaged. If you are able to join us on May 18, we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to hear directly from your co-op and stay connected to the work being done on your behalf.
At SEI REMC, reliability isn’t just about the services we provide—it’s about the trust we build with our members. That trust is strengthened when members stay informed, get involved, and take an active role in their cooperative.
We look forward to having you join us.
