EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

ROB HUNGER
Rob Hunger

Rob Hunger joined SEI REMC in April of 1978, shortly after the historic Blizzard of ’78, and has spent nearly five decades serving members across the cooperative’s service territory. Throughout his career, Rob has worked on many crews, including line crews as well as the tree trimming and right-of-way mowing teams that were once part of REMC operations. Over the years, he has witnessed many changes in equipment and technology but remains committed to helping restore power and serve the local community.

One of Rob’s most memorable experiences came in 2012 when he joined other cooperative linemen from across Indiana to help build electric distribution lines in mountain villages in Guatemala as part of the first Hoosiers Power the World project.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys camping and hiking with his wife Linda, creating sand sculptures at the beach, and singing Gospel music with the Safe In The Harbor trio.

Thank you, Rob, for your dedication to SEI REMC.
